It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Costume Craze celebrated Christmas in style… with a big party, of course!
Everyone brought food and we enjoyed a marvelous potluck. We had a huge spread of food and desserts, everything was so delicious!
Afterwards, we exchanged gifts and had a Christmas tree ornament contest. There were some great entries this year! After the votes were tallied, it turned out that we had two First Place winners. Congratulations to June and Marie! June brought an impressive gingerbread house ornament, and Marie tied for First with a stunning blue star adorned with crystals.
I got the biggest chuckle out of Victor’s ornament. Using his powers of System Administrator, he claimed the Second Place prize with a crafty hand-made ornament made out of a floppy disk and a cardboard mailer. It looked great — very original!
It was a great way to kick off Christmas weekend. We are all looking forward to spending time with our families, and reflecting on the year as it quickly comes to an end.

If you’re a fan of Showtime’s hit TV show Dexter, here’s a bit of interesting trivia. Costume Craze costumes were recently featured in the season finale! The sixth season of Dexter came to an end last Sunday, and our Kids Animal Costumes were used in a scene involving a school play.

Several months ago, we received a large order for various kids animal costumes, all shipping to the Dexter TV production. We were so excited to see if they’d make it onto the show. Sure enough, they did!
Our costumes appear during a cute little scene where a school puts on a production of Noah’s Ark. Dexter’s little boy gets quite a bit of screen time in our Toddler Deluxe Lion Costume. Isn’t that a great looking costume?
Lions, tigers, bunnies, cows, zebras and elephants all made it safely onto Noah’s Ark. So cute! We’re quite honored that we could be a part of the show, what a fun surprise.
