On July 16th, Costume Craze CEO Kate Maloney will be giving a lecture on “Competition” to the attendees of the 2008 Utah Business Week at Utah State University in Logan, Utah.

Kate will be discussing competition in the costume industry, as well as competing in the Utah market for the best and brightest employees. It will be a very insightful presentation.
 

 
Just what is Utah Business Week?

For more than a quarter century, UBW has been giving some of the state’s best high school students hands-on experience with free enterprise on the Utah State University campus.

This summer’s program runs July 13–19. Each year, an application process results in about 150-200 students being invited by Utah businesses to spend a week at USU.

 
Upon arrival, students are divided into competing companies that select a CEO and an imaginary product complete with a logo and radio commercial. Each day they run a business simulation and hear from Utah business leaders. At night they have games, dances and a variety of team-building activities.

Looks like a great time! Costume Craze is proud to be a part of this fun and rewarding education experience.
