This is so cool! Last weekend, a flash mob formed at a shopping mall in Bristol, England. Out of the blue, over 100 people pulled out lightsabers and created the largest lightsaber battle ever!
This looks like soooo much fun, and it’s a fantastic idea. Lightsabers are a great flash mob prop — they are cheap, lightweight, and easy to hide until it’s time to perform.
If you’ve got a hankering to start your own Star Wars themed flash mob, be sure to check out our full line of lightsabers!

Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Sherlock Holmes movie.
How great is working at Costume Craze? Last Friday, the marketing department got to go watch Sherlock Holmes during work hours. It was such a nice treat! We wore Sherlock Holmes hats to the show and received nice comments from other movie goers.
Check out this talented street musician! He is performing the song, “What is Love” by simultaneously playing the bass guitar and a melodica – while wearing our chicken costume!
This is the exact costume he is wearing. We have this chicken costume in stock and ready to ship!
This is so cool! I think the melodica is a fascinating musical instrument. Nicknamed the blow-organ, it’s in the same family as the harmonica and accordian. You play it by blowing through a tube. If you look closely, you can see the tube going into his chicken mouth. Amazing!
It would be interesting to find out how much the musician earns while in costume, compared to when he plays without one. My guess is that his tips double when he’s in costume. Everyone loves costumes!
So the next time you’ve got a gig to perform, consider wearing a costume! Costume Craze has a large selection of animal costumes, superhero costumes, and funny costumes and much more… virtually guaranteed to make your performance more pleasing and memorable!
Costume Craze celebrated Christmas with a fun employee party yesterday. We decorated our snowman with a fine Christmas hat! Then we played video games, ate great food and had a lot of fun.
The desserts were out of this world! I think I must have gained 10 pounds, but it was worth it.
After we ate, we had a fun drawing for gift certicates. Everyone picked a number out of a hat, and we all won great prizes.
Special thanks to the Maloneys for being so generous. They really went out of their way to wish us a Merry Christmas and show their appreciation for a job well done. Costume Craze is such a great place to work!
It’s hard to believe 2009 is almost over. We’ve had a great year, and we’re looking forward to 2010. So many new and exciting costumes are on the horizon!
We hope you all find joy and gratitude on this wonderful holiday – and may Santa bring you lots of presents!
We always love to see our costumes used in creative and fun ways. The folks over at SuperNotSoSuper.com have put together a hilarious collection of superhero photos.
Watch Batman, Supergirl and The Flash struggle through their daily lives – using costumes sold by Costume Craze!
Supergirl cooks breakfast and vacuums, The Flash gets exercise on the treadmill, while Batman faces foreclosure on the Wayne Manor! LOL, this is great stuff. I love how they’ve taken the photos and created mock comic book panels to tell the story.
Wow, check out this work of beauty found in New York City by CarScoop. A Batmobile limousine! The car is modeled after the Batmobile in the Tim Burton movies.
I suppose it makes sense that billionare Bruce Wayne has one of these in the Batcave. I bet members of the Justice League are always asking Batman for a ride.
This would be so fun to rent for a big night on the town with friends. If everyone wore Justice League costumes, it would be so awesome!
Have you heard of the meme Geddan, or Get Down? Until recently, I hadn’t either.
I saw this great video of a girl dancing in our V for Vendetta costume, but at the time I didn’t really know what I was watching.
Bear with me, because this is fascinating stuff!
Geddan started in Japan a couple of years ago, when someone made a video exploiting a glitch in the Nintendo 64 game system. When the game cartridge is improperly inserted, it creates a glitch that causes the video game characters to “dance” spastically.
Soon, lots of people in Japan started making Geddan videos, all using the same song called Promise, by pop singer Kohmi Hirose.
Last year, this craze became popular in America. It’s important to note that no one can perform this dance live, it can only be done using video editing. Isn’t this interesting?
To fully understand, please watch this video by Know Your Meme. They explain and demonstrate the Geddan quite well.
I think this is so cool – especially when using our costumes! Get Down!
What happens when the Justice League has to battle an evil version of themselves?
We’ll find out in the Spring of 2010, when Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths comes out on DVD. This is the latest animated movie from DC Entertainment, and judging by this trailer, promises to be super amazing.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League must face the Crime Syndicate, an evil Justice League from an alternate universe. In this alternate universe, Lex Luthor is a good guy!
The evil Crime Syndicate have all the same powers, and this looks like it will be the ultimate epic battle of superheroes.
Here at Costume Craze, we LOVE superheroes. Have you ever seen our superhero fan film? We made this using our superhero costumes, it’s a lot of fun.
We have an extensive line of Justice League costumes, for kids, adults and pets! And best of all, everything in our store is on sale! Now is the perfect time to get your superhero costume and take care of your Christmas shopping.
During our Blowout Sale, you can save up to 90% off! We offer flat-rate ground shipping for only $2.99, and orders over $50.00 ship FREE!
Here’s a fun clip from The X Factor, the popular singing contest show in the UK. Irish twins, John and Edward, have recently become a sensation on the show due to their fun and enthusiastic performances. Granted, they may not be the best singers in the world, but the British public loves them and they keep winning the votes.
Watch as they perform the Ghostbusters song. I’m not sure what’s up with their yellow proton packs, but they’ve got the monsters and the Ghostbusters car on stage, and they put on a pretty decent show.
Talk of a Ghostbusters 3 has been circulating fairly heavily for the last couple years. For a long time, Bill Murray refused to do another movie, but it seems that lately he’s agreed to be in a third movie if the script is good.
Here’s a recent interview from Oct. 15, 2009. It’s interesting because Murray still seems quite reluctant to appear in Ghostbusters 3. It’s all about the script. I hope they can work something out soon – we’d all love to see more Ghostbusters!
If you feel like doing a little Ghostbustin’ of your own, you’ve come to the right place! Costume Craze has Ghostbuster costumes in adult standard and plus sizes, guaranteed to chase the ghosts out of your neighborhood! Who ya gonna call?
