Costume Craze makes 2007 Inc. 500 List
by Matthew on Monday, July 7th, 2008
In 2007, Costume Craze made the Inc. 500 list, which honors the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
We ranked #23 in retail, and #415 overall. It is quite an honor for us to be listed among the nation’s greatest companies.
Why are we ranked as one of the nation’s fastest growing companies?
A little help from Harry Potter and Spider-Man never hurts. Costume Craze sells Harry Potter, Jack Sparrow, and thousands of other costumes for adults, children, and dogs online. Founder Matthew Maloney, his sister Kate, and their mother Kathleen created the family-run company by accident, setting it up as a test subject for his search engine optimization software.
Thanks to Matthew’s software, Kate’s vision, and Kathleen’s business experience, Costume Craze has become a huge success. Unlike competitors, we have sustained international sales. By providing a large selection, prompt shipping and courteous support, Costume Craze has boosted revenue by 700 percent.
